Top Sabor has been honoured for the second consecutive year with the SME Excellence Certificate. Our work throughout the year, both in the manufacturing process of our Samosas, and in managing the quality of our Traditional Savoury Products as well as the company's management as a whole has once again been recognised by the Ministry for the Economy and Employment through the SME Excellence Programme.

We are sharing an excerpt of a report from 17th December in the Expresso newspaper, which contains the list of Portuguese companies distinguished as SME Excellence for the quality of their economic and financial performance, which includes Top Sabor.

Created in 1995 by Azim and Firoz Sadruddin, Top Sabor's main business is the manufacture and sale of pre-cooked deep-frozen food. Later, the managing partners brought their knowledge of a traditional recipe together with the know how of Naushad Ali Nurali - the authority on samosas in Porto since 1975 - whilst maintaining the typical characteristics of a homemade product.

A unique and tasty eastern flavour is what customers can experience with the products we make here. The secret of our samosas is in the pastry. It should be smooth, crisp and non-greasy. And so that they can be like that after frying, because production is always uniform, the managing partners also go out into the field to show customers how they should be cooked

With annual growth of around 30 percent, Top Sabor is an SME Excellence company that believes that it is not only the financial ratios that make this award possible, but all the work of a team of employees that goes into creating a great product. And in terms of the product the management is clear: "Our samosas? They're probably the best samosas in the world."
